Why we built Kaaya
How will it look on me? Will it fit? How does the fabric feel?
Before buying clothes, everyone wants to know these three things. A shop's trial room answers all three. Virtual Try-On can only answer the first. So we don't think it should replace the shop.
We use it before your shop visit, not instead of it. Check the look at home. Then go to the shop to check the fit and feel, and buy.

We're three people from Surat. Veeraj and Aayush have been friends since childhood, and Satish is Veeraj's uncle.
We've been building together for four years. Our first startup, a doorstep laundry service, didn't work out. But it taught us to listen closely to customers.
In Dec 2024, we started building Virtual Try-On for online shoppers. People loved seeing clothes on themselves, but they still wanted to touch the fabric and check the fit before buying. That showed us where Virtual Try-On really helps: choosing what to buy before you go to the shop.
